Our First Aid Response courses are now fully
available across Cork. Designed to empower participants with the confidence, skills, and practical ability to act in a real emergency, this PHECC-approved course trains learners to provide effective first aid to anyone who becomes suddenly ill or injured until professional medical help arrives.
We offer hands-on, practical training in Cork as well as nationwide delivery.
Our team provides on-site training for companies, schools, childcare facilities, community organisations, and group bookings across Ireland. Discounts and funding options are available for group or corporate training. On-site training in Cork and nationwide can be arranged at times that best suit your team. Course Fee: €295 per person — includes PHECC certification (on successful completion), a First Aid Response handbook, course workbook, and a 2-year update package.
FIRST AID COURSE OVERVIEW
By completing our First Aid Response (FAR) course in Cork, learners will be able to:

FIRST AID COURSE DURATION
Our 18-hour First Aid Response course in Cork is delivered over multiple days, with flexible scheduling options to suit your needs. Choose from midweek, evening, or weekend sessions — simply contact us to discuss your preferred timetable, and we’ll work with you to arrange the most convenient schedule.

Participants in Cork will be assessed on five practical FAR skills, including CPR, ensuring hands-on competence. In addition, a 20-question multiple-choice test must be successfully completed to achieve certification.
FIRST AID COURSE CERTIFICATION
Phoenix Safety Solutions, serving Cork City and County, is proudly affiliated with Qualtec and UFAS, both PHECC-approved Training Institutions (ATI).
On successful completion of our Cork-based First Aid Response course, participants receive a PHECC-recognised First Aid Response certification, valid for two years.

These qualifications are the only First Aid Response certifications formally recognised by the HSE, HSA, and Tusla, ensuring your training meets the highest national standards for workplaces, schools, and childcare settings throughout Cork and Ireland.
